This is the classic weekend away to either get some early season training miles in or maybe some late Summer R&R

As with all of our packages, you get to stay at our luxury base - The Old Vicarage.

Access to the hot tub and sauna are standard. see the next section for more details of what is included

 
 

PRICE

£590 per person

Example Agenda (timings, distances etc can vary depending on group, weather etc):

Thursday:

  • Guests arrive any time after 4pm (earlier arrivals should be possible if you want to get an extra ride in - please check in advance)few beers

  • Check out the house, get your bike out and set up

  • Dinner will be provided at about 7 pm. Late arrivals wil be catered for.

  • Post dinner chat and plan for the weekend ahead. Maybe a few beers or glasses of wine

Friday:

  • Start with breakfast - maybe bacon and egg (veg/vegan option available) with fresh tea and coffee, toast and some of Mrs Powell’s famous marmalade

  • 10 am - Head off on the first ride of the weekend, make it a good one - 4 hours. Lunch at the Pandy at the end followed by a gentle 15 minute spin back home

  • Afternoon of relaxation - maybe try out the hot tub and sauna.

  • Evening meal out at The Bridge

Saturday:

  • Similar start to the day, maybe try some smoked salmon today

  • 10 AM - it’s day 2 so maybe a slightly shorter ride - how does 3 hours sound? Lunch today in Hay on Wye and also an opportunity to have a quick look around this historic book town. Homeward ride of about half an hour.

  • Afternoon of relaxation back at the house or opportunities for sight seeing or maybe an extended excursion around Hay

  • Two course evening meal will be provided

Sunday:

  • Maybe sausages with fried egg today?

  • 10 AM - the legs might be feeling a bit tired by now so let’s go for another 3 hours.

  • Lunch today is back at The Bridge. Return home via a bit of a hill. Not too bad though!

  • Afternoon, some people might want to head off back home, others are welcome to stay for dinner

Monday:

  • Those still remianing will have a final breakfast and be headed off by 10AM
